HOME, FOR ME IS A PLACE WHERE I CAN FEEL COMFORTABLE , THE PLACE I AM IN WITH ALL OF MY BELONGINGS, BY MYSELF OR WITH MY FAMILY.
IN THIS PROJECT I COULDN’T FIND MY DIRECTIONS TO START. I WAS CONFUSED. HOW CAN I DESCRIBE THE FEEL OF HOME OR THE PLACE I AM IN THROUGH AN IMAGE? I TOOK PHOTOGRAPHS OF OBJECTS IN MY ROOM THAT I LIKE THE MOST OR I FEEL CONNECTED TO. HOWEVER, THEY DIDN’T LOOK AS IF THEY HAD ANY MEANING, THEY LOOKED NORMAL AND ORDINARY. LATER ON WHILE DOING MY RESEARCH I HAVE FOUND 2 ARTIST THAT HAD DIFFERENT WAYS OF DESCRIBING A PLACE. UTA BARTH USED LIGHT, SHADE AND SHAPE TO DESCRIBE THE PLACE WHEREAS JIM GOLDEN USED HIS COLLECTIONS TO REPRESENT HOME.

A contemporary photographer who lives and works in Los Angeles, California. She photographs home and objects in a specific way. She gives life to her objects and makes them unique.
She mostly takes photos of shadows inside, which were given to us by the light from outside. I as well like the angles of her images. I will try top take some close up photographs as she had.

I could not find many information’s about this person, however, I know that he mostly photographs collections like the one below. I like the way he places the objects and creates compositions. They look aesthetically good and a colourful background gave them more life
